ABOUT THE WORK
This project highlights the famous cookie sandwich, the Oreo. I was inspired by the idea of uniting the two contrasts of the cookie, the Oreo's famous white, vanilla icing with the dark, chocolate cracker. Using the mini oreos as well as the regular size, I was able to craft an image using the icing in the oreo. The most important part of this project was letting the imagery speak for itself, therefore I had to create the image to be more than just art, it had to have a story! For the mockup shown above, I created packaging that stays within their style, while highlighting the three images shown below. I also added a touch of Oreo's signature wreath pattern, shown to be like wedding flowers in the background of the packaging.
